Shotesham (A) 11th Aug

On Monday evening, August 11th, 4 teams of 3 experienced a lovely friendly game and warm hospitality at Shotesham BC, in the heart of the North Norfolk countryside. Although, due to the holiday season, we had some difficulties raising a full team, everyone had a most enjoyable evening's play, helped by the drop in temperature after another very hot day.

Although the Priory Team found some difficulty in reading the green, one team won by 4 shots and another by just 1, getting the winning shot on the last end. Each match was close-fought, and Shotesham won 63/50. One disastrous end in which a Priory team lost 7 points accounts for the differences in the final scores after what, in reality, had been a challenging match with some excellent shots from each player.
