Social Activities

Since the Club's Constitution was first signed in 1961 its objectives have included, offering members 'the opportunity to maintain personal activity and peer companionship' and, 'promoting the Club within the community'. The Club continues to arrange social activities aimed at including members who still actively bowl and those who feel no longer able to grace the Green with their skills.

 

Pre-Season Club Lunch - 12th March at Wymondham Rugby Club 

This year's Club Lunch was held at the Wymondham Rugby Club with over fifty members and partners enjoying an early pre-season get-together. 

 

Quiz Evenings

Our last quiz night was held on 29th November at Ogden Close and was, as usual, very well attended. Everyone was in good spirits with laughter ringing round the room. Thanks to all who attended

The next Quiz night will be 9th May at Ogden Close starting at 7:30pm.

Social Saturdays are planned for 31st May, 5th July and 6th September. Further details will appear here.

Our End-Of-Season event is scheduled for Saturday 13th September starting at 2:00pm.

(Note - it is planned for the Green to remain open for play until 27th September)

 

Whist Club -  Monday's at 2pm (October to March)

The Whist Club is open to all members who are registered with the Bowls Club prior to October each year. 

The Club meets on Monday afternoons during the period October to March. Spaces are limited and there is often a waiting list to join. Contact admin@priorygardenbowlsclub.co.uk  for further details.
