Hethersett PF (H) 18 July

On Friday 18th July we entertained Hethersett P F for the return match, unfortunately we could only get 9 players for this                  match, which was disappointing for the 2nd match in a row, but contacting Irma (the Hethersett Captain) she said it wouldn't be a problem so we agreed that we played with 3 Triples, so the game went ahead with 3 Triples.

Rink 1, John A, Derek K and Melvyn won 9 of the 16 ends and winning Priory 22 shots Hethersett 10 shots.

Rink 2, Bob S, Sandy and Ivan H, Priory and Hethersett winning 8 ends each, with Priory coming out winning 16 shots to                        Hethersett 12 shots.

Rink 3, Bet, Arthur and Di G, with Priory winning 6 of the 16 ends, unfortunately Hethersett came out winning 17 shots to the                  Priory 10 shots.

The overall result was Priory 48 shots to Hethersett P F 39 shots, so well done Priory.

Again, a lot of banter was had on the Green as we have got to know many of the players, so well-done Priory for another win.

Melvyn.
