A late call-off due to injury resulted with both Blocks being reshuffled as Ivan Freedman answered the call to replace Karen Smith.

After trailing by eleven shots after the twelfth end; the score being Priory Garden six Wymondham Dell seventeen, Ivan Freedman helped Bet Davis and Ivan Howman to grab a one shot lead after the seventeenth end but dropped one shot on the last end. The final score being eighteen shots all.

On the other rink, after taking an early lead Pat Goody, Patrick Hurst and Melvyn Barker trailed for most of the match after dropping six shots on the third end. After producing a spirited comeback and winning the last four ends they narrowly missed out on a draw with the final result Priory Garden thirteen shots, Wymondham Dell sixteen shots. 

The overall match result was Priory Garden thirty one shots, Wymondham Dell thirty four shots.
