Wym. Dell (A) 20th Aug

On Wednesday 20th August the Priory B C went to Wymondham Dell, again a lovely evening for playing bowls, albeit a bit cooler.

Rink 1:- John A, Karen and Ivan H were up against a very strong Wymondham Dell triple, the Dell winning 27 shots to Priory 4 shots.

Rink 2 :-  Bet, Mike B and Ivan F, up until the 10th end the Priory were drawing 10 -10, but after that Wymondham Dell forged ahead with the Dell winning 19 shots to Priory 15.

Rink 3 :-  Ann, Ken and Melvyn, similar to rink 2, on end 9 were drawing 10 - 10, then Wymondham Dell again went ahead, ultimately Dell winning 27 shots to Priory 15.

Rink 4 :-  Patrick, Sandy and John M, also up against a strong triple, the Priory triple were holding there own on the 10th end with the score standing at 13 -13, end 12 Priory went 16 shots to Dell 13, but as the other rinks Wymondham Dell went ahead with the Dell winning 27 shots to Priory 17.

To conclude, Priory were up against 4 strong Dell triples, coupled with the length of the green, but all Priory triples dug deep, but unfortunately Wymondham Dell came out winning 100 shots to the Priory 51 shots.
