Brooke (H) 30th July

On Wednesday 30th July we entertained Brooke B C at home, we only had 9 players available to play the match, we are struggling to get a full squad of 12 players for some reason, so contacting the Brooke Captain, he also said that he could only get 9 players, so the game went ahead with 3 Triples apiece.

Rink 1 :-  Pat L, John A and John M, after 9 ends were 10 shots down to the Brooke 4 shots, but  won 6 of the remaining ends to win 14 - 11.

Rink 2 :-   Arthur, Karen and Ivan H went down 2 shots on the first end, but after the 4th end started to get results and pulled away from the Brooke Triple, finally winning 17 shots to 11.

Rink 3 :- Peter (his first game for the Priory), Sandy and Melvyn, at the 6th end were winning 13 shots to 1, but after that the Brooke Triple started to fight back, but the Priory came out winning 18 shots to 13.

The game was played in a friendly manner on all 3 rinks, after the match Billie and Di G served refreshments and of course Sandy organised the raffle.

So, to end, well done Priory for another win.
